I want to start out today by apologizing for putting this blog on the back burner the past two weeks. I have been really busy getting a large programming job done by this weekend. The good news is that if everything goes well I will have the front end done today and tomorrow everything will be tested. Of course there will be more functionality as always but the core code will be in place. I’m excited.
I know I always say this but todays RSS Roundup is really short. Thanks for putting up with me.
Obama Gets Specific on What Change Is

- a tax code that rewards work instead of wealth
- a health care plan that guarantees insurance to every American who wants it
- an energy policy that doesn’t rely on buddying up to the Saudi Royal Family and then begging them for oil
- giving every child a world-class education
- ending a war that we never should’ve started
The Little Thats Left
- American prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay have allegedly been abused and tortured at the behest of the Chinese government. Wow, I knew that we flew prisoners to other countries to be tortured but I never thought that we would fall so low as to be one of those countries for someone else. And for China no less. I have no words.
- Myanmar is turning away US aid for cyclone victims.
The Video of the Day
I have been saying all along with my McCain vs. McCain series that there are two John McCain’s. I would have thought that the vast differences between beliefs and positions of the two would have made it obvious. Well, finally the media is starting to wake up to this fact. Thanks Crooks and Liars

Thats it for today, told you it was a short one. Hope you all have a great day and I’ll try to get out a real story later this afternoon. Depends on how well the coding goes.

I wish some people, like you, would leave the name of the Lord out of such idiotic posts. Those of us who support Paul knew where he was. Your sardonic post was neither truly funny, nor informative. Please grow up before you insult me, my faith and my candidate the next time.
Do you really only want to be insulted by grown ups? That’s such a strange request. While the majority of our posts are informative, this one was clearly marked satire. If you do not enjoy satire then I would skip those articles.
“Those of us who support Paul knew where he was” Well, that makes me feel better. I felt bad thinking of the guy floating all alone over the ocean. Why didn’t you all help him get back sooner?
I, too, am offended by everything and wish you would lay off the sardonism.
amen Sean! While I am not a Paul supporter, I was among those that contributed during one of his record setting fund raisers, during the time that I was undecided.
As people, who have read my columns, know I finally made a choice on a candidate based 100% on the economy. That said, I agreed with financial advisers that I listen to that Ron Paul knew the least about the economy.
How sad to be offended by everything. How do you get through a day?
I’m sorry he’s your candidate, Elizabeth. I pushed for Kucinich last election so I know what it’s like following someone who’s largely ignored by the press.
However, as a woman and Christian, you should be offended by Mr. Paul’s positions on subjects pertaining to those of your sex. Do some research and look well at his past then maybe you won’t want to push for someone with such archaic and potentially freedom robbing opinions on women.
