standardPresident Obama Signs Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act

President Obama entered office with higher expectations than any president in my lifetime and he continues to amaze everyone by surpassing them.  Today he signed into law the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.  Fair pay for women is a cause we have cared about deeply here at WWJV4 and I couldn’t be happier to see this law passed.  For more information I highly recommend checking out the National Womens Law Center’s Fair Pay page.

This post reminds me that I need to clean up this blog and get back to work.  Even with most of the bums kicked out of Congress and a wonderful president there is so much work to do.

Only hyper partisans (and many in the media) are “amazed” with what Obama has done so far. His disastrous spending so far will have very long term negative effects on our economy.

And remember his stance on ending Iraq war? And illegal wiretaps (FISA)? And taxing the poor? For those of us who aren’t partisans, and continue to be critical, Obama failure rate is increasing fast.

Don’t even get me started on all of the tax cheats Obama has appointed so far – we haven’t seen corruption this bad – so close to the presidency since the Clinton years.

I 100% agree with you tina. With Geithner back in taxes STILL, and Geithner’s assistant being a former CEO from Goldman Sachs, what more can Obama do at this time besides keep the government crooked.

I don’t know about the record on corruption, but it would seem like someone who wanted to be a dictator (Bush), lost billions of dollars in Iraq, got huge no-bid contracts (Halliburton/Cheney), appointed corrupt judges to the Supreme Court (Bush again), and possibly was even part of the planning behind 9-11, (all of them), you might reconsider Obama’s “record” of corruption.
