It is important to realize that this abuse of our 4th Amendment started <strong><a href="http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2007/10/nsa-asked-for-p.html" rel="nofollow">7 months before 9/11</a></strong>. In fact this kind of action by the government is exactly why we have the 4th Amendment. The mainstream media disgusts me. Maybe this shouldn’t bother me but CNN’s coverage of this states that the immunity is for “telecommunications companies that helped the U.S. government eavesdrop on their customers without court permission after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.”

It is important to realize that this abuse of our 4th Amendment started 7 months before 9/11. In fact this kind of action by the government is exactly why we have the 4th Amendment. The mainstream media disgusts me.
