Brownback to Drop Out

Sam Brownback has announced his intentions to drop out of the presidential campaign on Friday! Now many of you may wonder why this is such a big deal. Brownback was a long shot even in the best polls and never managed to really get any momentum. His hard line stances on conservative issues and anti-science views on evolution have made Brownback one of the jokes of this election cycle.

So why are we so happy to see him go? Well, my wife and I have the unfortunate distinction of sharing a state with him. Kansas has long been a favorite target for late night comedians due to our history of moving backwards on every major issue. Sam Brownback was the poster child for that backwards slide to the middle ages and it will be good to see him go.

Brownback’s early exit is sure to have exactly no impact on the rest of the race. The two dozen Brownback supporters will most likely find themselves in Huckabee’s camp as his politics are most like Brownbacks. Whoever they shift to it is not likely to make any real difference, especially since Kansas will just blindly vote for whoever has an (R) beside their name like every other year. Gotta love living in a country where my vote matters.

Mitt Romney, the political chameleon of the GOP, has recently begun trying to woo conservative Christians into his stall. His message; Romney is the best conservative Christian that the GOP has. Now, those of you who are paying attention will notice that Romney is not a Christian. Romney is; of course, aware of [...]

What will happen if……

James Dobson abandons Giuliani and supports a third party candidate? He’s loud about his dissatisfaction that Giuliani is leading the Republican field. He hates the fact that Giuliani has policies that are closer to Clinton than to social conservatives. He will only accept an anti-choice candidate. He doesn’t trust that Giuliani will appoint Justices that [...]

Just a quick post to start your week off with a laugh.  Anymore SNL has been in a slow decline and on a good night if they have more than a handful of decent skits I consider it a good show.  However, The Weekend Update and opening monologs this weekend were excellent.  Here is the [...]

I guess the big question is this; what draws conservatives to public restrooms for anonymous gay sex like mosquitoes to a bug zapper? Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against guys having the gay sex. What completely pisses me off is when these conservative ultra Christians promote anti-gay agendas while doing it. [...]
