If John McCain is trying to fool voters into thinking he wont be a third term for the Bush Administration he will need to try harder than this. The Associated Press is reporting that John McCain is “castigating Democrat Barack Obama for voting against John Roberts as Supreme Court chief justice”.

McCain pledged that if elected he would nominate Supreme Court Justices just like John Roberts and Samuel Alito. John Roberts was nominated as Chief Justice of the United States by George W. Bush in 2005 (Obama and Clinton +20 others voted against). Samuel Alito was also appointed by George W. Bush in 2006 (Clinton and Obama +40 others voted against).

What a maverick that John McCain is.

Despite the incredible abundance of evidence proving the dangers of teaching the religious doctrine of abstinence-only education the Republicans were able to hold onto their cash cow. RH Reality [...]

In a 6-3 ruling (Breyer, Ginsburg and Souter dissenting) the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld an Illinois (doh) Indiana law that requires photo ID to vote. This law was pushed by Republicans who claim that it will prevent fraud. There is little evidence that this is true but one thing that is not [...]
