After closing the polls this morning (forgot last night) Habitat for Humanity received 29% of the votes. Second Harvest and The American Red Cross tied for second with 16%. My favorite, the Tzu Chi Foundation, placed 4th with 13%. So as we promised we will be placing a donation to Habitat for Humanity for the sum of all ad revenue from the month of October. Its not much but every little bit helps.

I would like to take this time to call on all our readers to make donations as well. Any of the 7 charities we listed are excellent choices, or choose one of your own. If the victims of the California wildfires isn’t your cause of choice than donate to whatever you feel passionate about. America has so much extra, yet there are so many that need our help. Please do whatever you can to help those less fortunate than you.
